Dubai Maritime City is a multipurpose maritime zone. It is one of the members of Dubai World group of companies. It is spread over 2.3 million square metres and is divided five major zones. It also serves as an international hub for maritime business.

Dubai Maritime City is a leading world conventional center that has created a unique environment for the global maritime community. It is dedicated to deal with the needs and requirements of the global maritime community and for that it offers world class infrastructure, service and regulation. The city has created an efficient, specialized environment for the networking and combination of maritime industry players from all over the world.

Dubai Maritime City is located on the northern direction near the creek area business district. It lies between Port Rashid and Dubai Dry Docks. It is located in such a strategic position that an easy access to major parts of the city can be found as it is just about 1 kilometre from Jumeirah Beach Road, 1.5 Kilometres from Bur Dubai, 2.5 Kilometres from Shindaga tunnel in Deira, 3 kilometres from Sheikh Zayed Road and about 10 kilometres from Dubai International Airport.

Dubai Maritime City will be a mixed use development for the maritime industry and will comprise of industrial, commercial, residential and leisure facilities. It is housed on a manmade peninsula and features the country’s first National Maritime Museum and the region’s premier ship repair and maintenance facilities. It also incorporates the education, training and research in a state of the art first of kind maritime complex accommodation and in training to support maritime business and service.
